Maybe the beefy pillars lend to the fact that the HHR has a 5 star crash test ratings? Seems to be a tradeoff.

Probably my only gripes myself are the A pillars and the visors, the back is fine with me. Like one poster said, you adapt and if you don't then you should trade in the car. :P

The only vehicle I have owned that I was rear ended in was my '85 Toyota SR5 pick up. Therefore, there was something wrong with it since it was tail ended.

The only vehicle I have owned that has been seriously damaged by a flying road object was my HHR. Therefore, there is something wrong with it since it was damaged by a flying road object.

The tail lights are weird? They're round. They're red. They light up. They light up even brighter when I put on the brakes. Not sure I follow the "weird" logic.

I've owned a dozen (and more) vehicles since I bought my first one in '79. Somehow, logic like this just doesn't hold up.

Just a quick note, on the sun visor hanging down to low....Yes I had this issue.

If you just swing them down they are in the line of sight. If you unclip the end when you swing them down you can swing them farther by just letting it come back just a little. Helps me a lot anyway......
