HHR Color selection

HHR Color selection
I read an article recently about car colors, what works and what doesn't on some cars and how color can even affect resale value.
The HHR was mentioned and those with Sunburst Orange will be happy to know that this is the best color (the article calls it copper).
Those with Black will not be so happy.
The article is here and the HHR piece is on page two. Those with Black will need to read the Dodge Magnum piece on page 1.
Personally, I think all colors look good on the HHR but that may just be me!

Interesting article...HHR Part shown below:
CHEVROLET HHR
Colour to avoid: Black (see Dodge Magnum).
Colour to get: Copper. The HHR aspires to be retro-funky, and GM's glorious copper hue -- a colour that was last popular when muscle cars ruled the roads -- is as funky and retro as you can get.
DODGE MAGNUM
Colour to avoid: Black. When ordered in ebony, the Magnum, thanks to its elongated shape, resembles a hearse (although fans of Six Feet Under may actually embrace this imagery).
We've heard that one before.
There was also several articles that were posted on the Front Page News about color choices.
Bold colors back as way to show individuality

Anytime I see articles like that I have to laugh at how stupid they are. That's just the writers opinion. There are people like me that wouldn't be caught dead driving a bright orange or purple HHR and would only buy a dark silver or black. The cars mentioned aren't classic cars where low production color combos do affect price.

It's all a matter of personal preference, as are so many of the choices we make on a day to day basis, as it should be.............
For whatever reason certain individuals or groups believe they are the expert and would like to decide and/or influence what's best for us. I say, no way.
I could be wrong on this one, however I read someplace black has been the choice of colors on the 2006 HHR?

What's wrong with orange and purple?
Just kidding...thought I'd rattle your cage a bit and use some smilies.
Seriously...I think all the HHR colors are great.
Just a matter of preference and mine was to get something that is eye catching....
not that the other colors are not. HHR's are all in my book.
