HHR Damage

I sold my HHR in March to a fellow in Alabama, on Nov 8th someone hit him and this is the pictures he sent me.

He was injured in this accident...2 blown discs in his neck both fused, broken hand, possible surgery on both rotator cuffs. Thank god he wasn't hurt worse or killed. He is a really nice guy. I pray for his quick recovery.

Man. That looks like an accident I wouldn't want to be in. Hope he gets well soon, and comes back to an HHR!

I was wondering about that too. If you notice, the front bumper was hardly damaged (except in the corner). The impact looked to take place above the bumper, as if a high mounted truck or other vehicle hit the HHR. Neither the windshield nor any of the windows broke. Looks very odd.

When you say someone hit him, was he standing still at the time, or were both vehicles traveling?
