HHR damaged in an accident, I知 fixing it !

In addition to hood, fender, and headlight previously mentioned, I decided to replace fan assy, radiator and upper radiator support.
Now I'm dealing with spot welds. But that is a better solution than trying to straighten the original.
What is the electrical component on the back of the support, just off center, to the right of center to be precise?

New York state only issues a salvage title for vehicles newer than 9 model years old.
I had two vehicles that the insurance company wrote off as totaled that I bought back, both were more than 9 years old, and neither has a salvage title.

In my cases (I still have and drive both "totaled" cars) I never surrendered the title. The registration still stayed in effect until I renewed it again at renewal time.
On one of the cars, the insurance company said no collision coverage (they dropped it in a letter they sent me later) because it had been totaled. However, the insurance adjuster told me that if I got it inspected by the state after I fixed it up, they would HAVE to offer collision. I didn't bother because the car wasn't worth much.
One the other car, a minivan, same thing except the insurance company never dropped the collision coverage.
After the car is 9 years old, the state doesn't care t if it's totaled apparently. They must figure after it's that old, the value is so low anyways, totaled or not. I don't think the insurance company will notify the state because the state wouldn't issue a salvage title anyway. My insurance company adjuster is the one who told me they didn't want the title if I bought it back. If it was newer than 9 years, then I assume they would take the title and send it to the state so the state could issue a revised title that shows the vehicle is a salvage vehicle.
