Now for the 1/64 Panel. First picture is out of the box.
Second is the epoxy I used to fill in the side windows
next is after some filler glaze on the side
and this is afterprimed with epoxy primer
I forgot to say that I reached inside with a long skinny paintbrush to change the interior to black from gray. And I should say that I started with 80 grit then 180 then 320 grit auto body sandpaper. Tomorrow I'll continue with the 1/64 panel. Now back to the van...john

Greybeard999 - Back in 1971 I had a 66 ford painted at Earl Scheib for 29.95 or 39.95 (can't remember) They paid their people $5 per car to mask, $5 per car to sand, and $5 per car to spray. The paint was in 55 gallon drums and only had about 8 colors, no metallics.
Sleeper. -Thanks, It all started this spring the 69 had a cracked manifold and was leaking gas from the carburetor inlet. Let's replace the manifold, tighten up the fuel line and repaint the top of the motor - Right! Like the song say's " One thing leads to another"

Sometime around 76-78 I had to re-paint several Scheib painted cars... Man, was that a mess.
