The only model that can really pull off retro year after year after year, and still remain relevant, is the Beetle, and that's based off its long history as being such a fun, simple, and lovable car.

I always liked the HHR since they came out. I finally stepped up to the plate. I probably have an advantage over you all because I can remember when the 1949 Burb came out. I thought that was the cat's meow. Then I got into VW's and the first new car I ever bought was a 1964 Bug. Then in 1984 I started drag racing a 12 second Karmann Ghia. Did that for 24 years and then broke an axle and that put me into the wall. That ended my drag racing career. Now I ride my Harley as much as I can.
