Complete faulse alarm. The swich to the 2010 models on the Official web site is not finished. There are also no 2010 vans, hybrids, or Aveos listed. Yet they exist. I was just looking at a 10 Aveo, and a HHR for my wife.

There is as 2010 the info is on the web site for dealer order information.

There is already a dealer info book out too.

There will be 1-2 years of the LS and LT to come since the Orlando is not ready to come out yet.

New models are staggered often anymore due to inventories.

I think the 09 HHR web info was not up till late last year too.

I have ordered a 2010 hhr ss w/5 spd and the performance package.Called the dealer yesterday and got a status update. He was told the start date for my car was Dec.14. Don't know how reliable this date is but I was told they have to deliver car within 2 weeks of completion.

Just to let everyone know... there are 2010 HHR's available here in Canada! and now to let me Introduce myself ... Im know to many just as RadioA, a long time radio collector and also a former PT Cruiser owner (2001 & 2004) I decided to jump the Chevy fence (been a long time Chrysler guy) and get myself a White 2010 LS Panel. Although Ive only had it for a few days I think I will enjoy it as much (or more) as I enjoyed my other rides in the past! Im sure as time goes by I will get into the mod frenzy as I have read and seen many mods here in these forums that I will do once it gets to be a bit warmer outside... those plastic hubcaps have got to go! Also plan to get to some of the meets and greets in the upcoming new year as well.

For what it's worth, the production line in Lordstown, Ohio that has made Cobalts is in transition to bring out the new Cruze. Cruze will replace the Cobalt. I do believe that since Cobalt production is thus ceased, so would HHR be too. If anyone else has more information, please share.

I didn't say there were no 2010's, just that they were ending. Sorry for causing the confusion.

The Cobalt is well into production just a week ago with more new 2010 Cobalts. They plan to continue the Cobalt on the same line it is on now till 2012. The line next to the Coblat line will built the Cruze this sping. In other words both cars will be built in the same building on two different lines.

Note there is no sedan Cruze yet so I suspect the Cobalt will wind down to a Coupe only and fleet sale sedan till the Cruze coupe is ready.

Lordstown is a GM's largest complex and can build several different cars at one time. At this point is is well under capacity. Look for the new small Buick also to be added there in the near future.

I was in the plant last year and they took me to where the new line will be put in. There is a ton of room and planning was already started back then to fire up the new line.

The bottom line is the HHR is out for 2010 and will be with us for 2 more years. The Olrando will not be here till the late 2011 as a 2012 model so the HHR needs to be retained. Sales were down some last year but it is still selling very well and GM has no plans to kill it before it's time.

So stop the worry and know the HHR is still in production and accept for the SS will remain in production for a little longer.

I too had heard that the HHR would be around until 2012. From what I have seen, I'm not impressed with the Orlando.
