Does anyone make a metal inside door handle to replace the crappy plastic one? My wife’s ‘11 with around 55,000km on drivers door handle broke off yesterday, crappy design and I would rather replace it with something more robust...

I just installed that one and it works great

 

I saw that one but I wasn’t convinced it was truly metal... so is it actually metal and not just the spring? I’m a little suspicious of some of these online sellers.

You should be more concerned that that one is for the passenger side, and you need the driver side.

 

Yes, we’re here, that seller also has left side handle kits.
