Had my first job in the HHR. Hauled 5 or 600 lbs worth of tools and steel. Bout 10 miles of city driving, 20 or so on the highway at speed. Air bags took care of the issues I was experiencing on the interstate. Took on a small gate job out here. As soon as it's done I'm throwing a trailer together and hitting the road. Eastbound and Down!!

The headlights have leds built into them, but they aren' very bright. I bought some yellow teardrop Lights I'm gonna mount on the fenders.

Looks like the front passenger side sits much lower, or is it a tropical delusion?

Really cool that it's working out for you!

Thanks!! I think they might have canoeing on the weekends down these streets, they slant the roads for runoff steeper than anywhere I've ever been

I'm really digging the airbags. When I loaded it down the other day, I had a little more weight on the right side. Little air and she levelled right up.

I've out about 150 miles on the interstate so far. I've got a slight vibration from 55-70 mph. It's not a constant vibration, it' more of a cycle. Vibrate for a second, no vibration for 2 seconds, vibration for 1 second etc... I believe it my pinion angle. Of course when I was on flat concrete, my angle gauge was 30 miles away with my tools. But I climbed under and could see how raising the car with the air bags made the nose of the chunk rotate down. I adjusted it slightly back up, but without the gauge I didn't wanna get too crazy. Seems to have helped. I think I'm on the right track there. Hopefully I'll have a small 5x10 trailer built and headed east in the next day or two.

Left California yesterday morning and safely arrived in Arizona last night.. Car did great. Rides awesome with the air bags in the rear. Had to climb the Tehachapee mountains, and some crazy pass that was 28 miles long and 85% up hill, some pretty steep grades. I think it was Chiriaco Pass. Started out in Cali cruisimg about 60-65mph. Once i got into Az did about 75mph at 2k rpms the rest of the way.

Hey, I think I speak for all of us when I say we want updates. First to make sure you're safe but second to see how she performed on the rest of the trip.

I'm back on the road again! Finished up my work in Arizona. Left out about 10pm last night. Drove a couple hundred miles, seemed like I was always climbing mountains. Got a hotel last night, left out this morning. In New Mexico . Don' wanna jynx it, but the car is doing great. It' loaded down with about 1500lbs of tools, plus trailer and 2 people. I' getting between 13-15 mpg. We're gonna keep on trucking until we get home.

Got 2 new front tires put on before I left. She rides nice and smooth. I'l post more updates this evening.
