Hhr/lt! ?
Could someone explain the difference between the LT1 and the LT2 to me?
The LT2 I had lined up has been sold but they've found an LT1 and will put leather heated seats in for me but my I can't seem to find info on the LT1 to compare.
I'd sure appreicate any info....
Thanks

2LT has larger engine, sports suspension, higher quality sound system. There are a few other differences too.

Here ya go, click on the link and then the "Compare Models" tab on the left hand side in the middle of the page, it leads you through.

The biggest difference is that the 2LT comes standard with the 2.4 engine, the 1LT comes standard with the 2.2 engine with the 2.4 optional. There are other differences such as wheel size, and suspension calibration as pointed out by TX-2LT.

Actually most of the 2LT options are available to order on a 1LT. I think the only one excusive to the 2LT is the FE3 sport suspension with the gas shocks.
However it is pretty rare to find a used 1LT that was ordered fully optioned, the 2LT just checks off all the boxes. Note if you are looking to buy a new one, they have reduced the choices for the final production.

All you can compare is the standard equipt. on each.
Some of the items standard on the 2LT are optional on the 1LT but remember you are not custom ordering your vehicle from the factory.
The dealer may be limited in what he can do .. ie. Sun Roof etc.
Where was the 2LT you missed ??

Actually I've missed 2! Oregon and here in Washington
Finally have a hold on one is Idaho. Black Metalic LT2 2.2 minus the running boards but otherwise is loaded, sunroof, backup camera, cargo package, chrome package, etc.
Fresh unit, no miles!
Am taking my 2010 F150 to the dealer tomorrow as they would like to do all the legal stuff since they are shipping the HHR to Washington and I will have it the first of the week.
Wonder if I can talk them out of a snazzy unit for a driver? ;o)
It'll be nice to double my mpg! Well, sort'a......my truck actually gets "fairly" good mpg but NOT like the new ride!
I'll post a photo or two when I find a good photo OP area. :o)
Thanks everyone for all the info......my head is spinning ;o)
I'm a "truck gal" at heart but really have no need for one any longer.....am looking at the HHR like a P/U with covered cargo space.

Hello MissPosh-
The 2LT only comes with 2.4 motor.. Sounds like it is likely a 1LT with the 2.2 motor & no boards.
My 2LT came stock with running boards also..
I'm a truck guy (long time also) so a HHR Panel 2LT was the ticket for me..
Take your time & get just what you want, or else you may regret the compromises..
Took me quite a while to find my Panel..

I would try to get the dealership to install running boards (assuming you want them, of course) as part of the deal. I doubt the difference between the 2.2 and the 2.4 will ever even be noticable to ya, so I wouldn't sweat it.
I downsized from cargo vans to my Panel, haven't regretted it once.

If you don't opt for the extra expense in the running boards, then be sure you tell them to install the Protection Package which is a dealer install on the 1LT.
That will give you the rock and junk protection you need as a minimum.
All wheel splash guards and a protection guard for the rear cargo area.
Congrats on your purchase and a Great Little Rig ...
