Sorry to hear about your truck - it really pisses me off that other people don't respect private property ... but I hope you have a speedy and satisfactory insurance experience.

I ''heard" that GM WAS going to honor the extended warranty on all remaining 2006's on dealer lots !!! You may want to give your dealer a call to verify...

Well so far no luck on finding the truck.

But on the HHR end, I have found yet another 1LT with a 5 Speed. Neither local. One is a SE model, with no added options other than the SE package, perfect.

Then a local dealership just called and found a 1LT Daytona Blue (color I really want) with a 5 Speed, Chrome package, Boards, and upgraded mats ( ), no fogs. They say it is about 450 miles away. But looks like about $500 cheaper than the SE model.

Looks like I can get into either for under 17K and the Daytona for just over 16K.

Decisions decisions......

Now, just gotta get the theft part over.

No dealership so far seem to be doing this. But did find one dealership that seems to offer a 5/60 powertrain free.

Well, the HHR is supposed to be here tomorrow. They are bringing it up from Miami today.

Glad to be putting a bad experiance behind me and a happier one in front.

There is a dealership here that is offering the new 2007 powetrain warranty on all remaining in stock 2006 models.
