No,this is a different person.The previous one was being developed by an HHR owner in Ohio.This one's being done by a resin caster out of Pennsylvania.

1/18 scale is almost exclusively used for pre built diecast vehicles.Big scale kits are made in 1/16 or,more commonly,1/20 scale.A resin caster would likely have to have a particular variation of an existing 1/18 scale vehicle in mind before bothering to cast up something in that scale.There's just not much demand in 1/18th and many subjects are available in smaller scales where there's more demand for items.

Gotta wonder about these collectibles. They have them for the Chevy SSR, Plymouth Prowler, Chrysler PT Cruiser, VW New Beetle, New Mustang, New Camaro, New Challenger, New Charger. Of all retros, how could they single out the Chevy HHR as not to finish the set?
