An HHR model is coming!

This time the body is gonna happen and is due to come with the grille insert and headlamp inserts.I saw the master and one cast up body and was told it was a go by this year's end.The caster did mention that he still had to find a chassis so I mentioned to him about the prior effort that used the chassis from the PT Cruiser so I believe he'll look into using that.Unless there's some unforeseen major setback,it's a go.

that's funny timing! I just talked to the member this week that had the original HHR casting, that he had hoped to get it into production! He has since passed it on to a couple of master modlers that hope to have something finished and for sale by early 2013! Hope to get one before our HHR is gone

I was walking through CVS yesterday and something on a toy rack caught my eye. I picked it up and saw that it was a diecast of a 1950 Chevy Suburban. They obviously changed the Sub since the 1948 model that the HHR was based upon, but there were still some similarities. I'm not sure what possessed the diecast company to make a model of the 1950 Sub.
