HHR for OPP
Just ran across this photo on the web. Any of you chaps from the great white north seen this spiffy HHR out on your highways and byways?
From the markings, it looks to maybe be a public relations or administrative vehicle instead of an enforcement one but you never know.

it's a fleet vehicle, so that may explain the lack of a running board.
I don't know if Canadian cars are different, but the wheels (rims) are different than mine (mine are star-shaped -- there are gaps between the spokes of the wheel cover and you can see the rotors
there looks like emergency lights inside, mounted to the inside ceiling near the center. Local police have cars like those, we call them "stealth bombers" (no visible emergency lighting on the roof or in the grille)
------
looking at http://www.policecanada.ca site (scroll down to the bottom) there's a separate section with a couple shots of the OPP HHR. According to the website, "Chatham-Kent OPP Highway Safety Division, Traffic Watch Courtesy Cruiser.
This is a new program being released on the 12th of February 2008 to promote courteous driving in Southern Ontario.
The vehicle has a number on the back 519-352-4444 that is answered at Blackburn Radio in Chatham. (CFCO FM 92.9 and CKSY 94.3)
Motorists can leave a message about random acts of traffic kindness experienced while driving."

I live in the Chatham-Kent area and I have not seen one of these around.
Pretty neat looking though.
