Mine just turned 4, and just over 3.3 years of ownership. No squeeks or rattles. Getting cold again so I know I'll hear that thunk on the one road I have to drive on (only place it does it). 44k on the clock, I'll probably be doing some brake work in the spring. Been very happy with it.

I actually think the 06 & 07 have less issues than the 08 & 09's.

Mine is only 1.5yrs old, While i don't Love it to piece's it will be in the Family for awhile with only 18K. The Wife will more then likely take it over one day. Living out in the country I'm pushing for a Used Mid-Size truck one of these Years.

Two years in mine next month. I love driving my HHR now as much as I did then. Only a few minor issues here and there, nothing major.

I took delivery of my 09 LS on June 11th I ordered through the GM employee direct sale program. Special incentives, more discounts and the threat of bankruptcy for GM was a possibility. I intended to replace our 1994 Chev Tracker with the HHR as a 'winter beater' protecting a couple of historic vehicles we have. In just a few short months I began to like the HHR so much I have mothballed it from our dreadfull Canadian Winter salt and sand. It will be pristine in the Spring and we can start all over again. I ask myself why do I like this thing so much? Because it is a 5 speed manual. I don't think if it had an automatic transmission I would feel the same about driving it.

Yeah, I didn't have intentions of storing mine either.... Oh well...it'll stay nicer that way!

My 07 LT will be three in March. Still runs like the day I got it, and since I spent quite a bit outfiting it to tow behind our motor home, I plan to keep it for some time. Other than a replaced instrument cluster, it has been trouble free in 19,000 miles.

My 06 HHR will turn four in March 2010 and currently has 55+K miles on the clock. It has been a very trouble free car. I bought it for its functionality. I picked up a "rubber" mat from one of the HHR guys on this forum and it works out great as floor bed liner with the back seats down. I have been bringing in bags of river pebbles for a landscaping and I just lay the bags in the back. The mat keeps the carpet looking good. I spent part of yesterday washing the HHR and did some waxing with some HOT FLASH High Gloss Polish. This was some stuff I picked up at the Turkey Rod Run. I'm trying it out just to see if it as good as stated by the vendor.

In January, I will be starting my 5th year with my HHR. Still runs like a charm, reliable, and a great drive. As the song says, "we're still having fun and you're still the one!" I think GM is going to regret hanging up our HHR's for the Orlando...

Two years on my 08 PANEL LT and have no thoughts at all in trading it in. 18,000 miles and not one problem.
