I've had people tell me it's a "chick" car...

But I haven't decided if that's an upgrade from a "grandma" car or not... lol

As long as I like it, that's all that matters!

and NO my parents do not pay for it. i have worked hard to get a good car.

my last truck died on me and i made the choice to go with a new car.

I am 24 and had to upgrade from my 13 year old, olds acheiva.

To everyone who is young and bought the car themselves, Congrats. I know what its like to work hard to have nice stuff.

Age here is 56. I'm always amused how car companies seem to target younger demographics with their marketing, but when you see these age surveys, 30+ is usually the biggest number.

I'm 42. I've never had a car that gets as many comments. Everyone is always asking about it.

I've NEVER had a brand new car, always bought used. I let the other guy pay the depreciation. The HHR is as close to new as I've gotten. 2008 with 24K on it. My wife got a 2005 Trailblazer with 8K miles in 06.
