That's a GOOD thing! It will keep her out of it, piling miles on it having fun driving it while your at work.

My ol lady don't really like driving my Panel, the only reason I got an auto trans was so she could drive it, if she Had to, had I known she wasn't going to like it, I would have got a 2LT manual trans Panel.

Heard the whining crap "but I don't know how to drive a stick".

I tried teaching her 25 years ago, that was a friggin Nightmare! Never again!
I can live with the auto trans, but i'm Not about to go putting windows in it for her to drive it, she can drive her mini van and keep away from My Panel.

I bought a set of rear Panel Doors as spares to have in case they can't be found 5-10 years down the road.

My Panel will remain a Panel no matter what. I Love it, and that's All that matters.

Tell your wife to go to work and buy whatever car she wants to pay for.

Not sure but I thought our 08' Panel rear harness had an extra plug in the rear door that would have been for the window motor .....

Also you would check where your window switches are to see if you have two unused plug ins for the new switches ....

You can probably get some motors from a junkyard or even the dealer...take it to an audio shop that does alarms and they should be able to wire it all up.

What year are the doors you got ?
There are two different types of window switches.
Also check the body connector that the door plugs into, and see what wires are there.
Depending on what you find, will depend on what you need to do. I can help with schematics and wiring.

I found 2008 rear doors(same color) for $900.00 shipped, still don't know what shuts off door a-jar message on dash?

I always thought it would be cool to find an inconspicuous place mount a small camera like they use in cell phones and put a flat screen monitor inside each door where the window would be. Just a pipe dream, but it would keep the undeniably cool panel look and still give you some side vision.
