I had the pleasure of talking to the owner of this a couple of years ago. LOTS of work went into it. The hood is an actual old chevy truck hood redone. I forget the year though.

GDZHHR,

I agree with the too little payload but I'd love one of these over any other mini-truck type. I can't imagine its much less than an old Chevy *barf* LUV.

like i said, many people who don't favor the hhr(corrolla/civic drivers), actually liked this thing.as for payload capacity i always wondered if you put the body on the Epsilon platform, then you could cram a v6 or even a v8 in it..but it could take away the looks.
