HHR refresh as shown in Popular Mechanics

I haven't seen this posted yet. Just got my latest issue of Popular Mechanics and it has a spy photo of a future HHR. It looks like a refreshed front end for the HHR, less rounded and more angular.

I wonder if the new grille will fit on the '06s and '07s.

Not my cup of tea.

I think removing the stock bars, really changes the retro/old car look, as well as squaring up front end, to much like the Dodge's.

Good thing I have the orginal HHR!!!

But(...), we all know opionons are like (...)holes, everyone has one one and they all stink, HA!!!

I like the grill, but don't care for the front end as a whole. A big part of the reason I like the HHR is becouse of the retro look. If you start taking away the classic look it looses some of its appeal, IMO, and the roundness of the front end is a big part of that look.

I agree that this might be the SS with the larger lower grille opening I think that it looks okay, at least not too many changes...

Other than the big hole in the bottom for the intercooler and the grill I don't see a difference at all. This just resembles the test mule pics from before with a different grill. Nice pics but still doesn't look like much of a refresh, just a different grill. Can't wait to see the SS!
