My wife couldn't remember his name. But, I remember he absolutely worshipped the sun. Had a tan like a native Hawiian (and I mean dark)with silver gray hair. He was quite "dapper". He and his wife spent 2 weeks in Florida with a relative, then a week cruise to the Caribbean, disembarked that ship and walked a couple hundred yards on the pier to the next ship and went for another week cruise. After that another week in Florida, then home. It was winter in your part of the world, so in reality, he was escaping the worst.

When my wife's 09 HHR was in the body shop (where I got hit in the back) the insurance co gave us a new Ford Fusion to drive. What a joke our HHRs ride better and have less body roll and handle better. And all the mags rave about thr Fusion---go figure--and on top of that it got worse gass milage.

we took at least fifteen different makes and models for test drives. hands down our hhr rode better, was quieter, looks nicer, feels nicer, is cooler and more awesome than any of the rest.

just brought the car back to haldimand to have sway bar bushings installed. only waited an hour. rides smooth and quit now. thanks haldimand. they also let me go in the shop while Ginger was up on the hoist, so i could have my first peak at her belly. nice and clean underneath. has greasable endlinks already. so the 3 "biggies" are dealt with(bushings, endlinks, steering shaft).
