HHR Replacement/ Chevy Orlando

Orlando ???
Just what we need another mini-mini van - What makes the HHR so unique is the styling - Definitely like the HHR's more storage than the Orlando - The Orlando looks like a half dozen other vehicles on the road - I hope they stay with the HHR style - It's a winner !

So the above link says the this buick business will be released in china instead of the Chevy Orlando. Who knows which or if we are going to get these models state side. But What I will say is that with Chrystler probably going through bankruptcy at the end of the month GM should produce some sort of mini-van or inexpencive family hauler. The only car chrystler was selling a lot of was the Dodge Caravan. A big hole may be left if Chryster goes out of business. I had said in a previous post I may be buying a Dodge product. Not any more We are looking at the Mazda5 now hahaha.

I'm saddened to hear that GM will likely pull the plug on the HHR- I actually like the vehicle; mine's a panel and is already working well for business use. The only real issue I have with it is the cup holders... most of my coffee cups don't fit in 'em and they're squeezed too low between the armrests and too far back to reach easily. Frankly, GM, if you're listening, keep the HHR in production for now, it's popular and relatively efficient, just pay a little closer attention to the ergonomics and human interface issues- if you keep retooling and building new vehicles every 5 years you may not be able to realize the potential you're hoping for.
