I have an SS Auto with 16" Firestone Winterforce tires on it. I live in Quebec, so I have quite a bit of experience with snow and ice. No issues what so ever them. I had an 07 Impala LTZ with 17" Michelin Xice tires that cost twice as much and the car was a handful.

I have fairly new Goodrich T/A all seasons on my 2006 LT and I have to say if you're careful with the gas pedal, it seems to handle OK in snowy conditions. It doesn't handle as well as our Dodge Caravan though. That's an easy drive in the snow.

Anyone use EGTs on their HHR in the (real) snow?
Haven't tried them in real snow yet, Guess I'll find out tomorrow morning.... I expect they will be fine.

I don't care what happens but next year I'm getting me some snow tires. I'll be lucky if I can get home tonight after work.

You have to be crazy to leave the Pilots on in winter. They are bad in the rain let alone snow.

My all seasons make my SS like a tank.

Lets put it this way. Goodyears headquarters are here and I have many family members and friends who either work there or have retired with over 30 plus years. None of them would recomend the RSA.

The RSA is a old tire and mostly a cheap OE tire they sell to car companies. Car MFG don't want to pay anything for tires so most OE tires are crap till you get to the top line cars.

The RSA were good tires when they came out but todays tire technology has really passed them up.

Am from the snow belt and I have two sets of tires on rims: Spring, Summer and Fall and the other is four studded snow tires. I go anywhere with them in 20+ inches of snow.
