I hear ya Father. When I go to Phoenix for a month I also take 2 milk crates crammed with waxes, cleaners, spray lubes, spray paint, towels and a bag with 2 sided tape, velcro, pin stripes and "stuff" that I spend a lot of time on the HHR with.

Zombies, that's what the always present .45 is for............

Very familiar with condition 1. Father may be on to something so I might just grab a machete and a pair bolt cutters from the barn. I've got a tac crowbar around here somewhere but haven't seen it in long time so I'll just move the D cell mag light from the rear storage bins up closer to the front.

Ya just never know................

I live in Md. and can't legally CC, so I keep my Insight tac-light clipped on a pocket and will stab someone if need be.

Here's the crowbar.

so, this thread fell apart. totally disintegrated.

my goal was a SIMPLE light maintenance tool kit, specific to my HHR, to keep in my HHR.

so far, i had the hand tools to do an oil change.
15mm 3/8 socket for oil drain plug- i have since removed this tool because i bought a fumotovalve/quickoildrainvalve.
32mm 3/8 low profile socket for oil filter cap
3/8 ratchet
6" 3/8 extension
3/8 drive torque wrench

i have since added the tools to change the air filter.
8mm 3/8 socket
T-25 and T-20 Torx bit
screwdriver handle for Torx bit

i included both the T-25 and T-20 because different tutorials had conflicting tool lists. maybe the Torx bits are year specific (i have a 2010). the minute i find out which one i actually need, i will remove to one i do not need.

70judge, great idea.

i will put together a kit for material (probably a strong crush-resistant small plastic box) as well. so far i figure i would put in one of each bulb (headlight, taillights) and couple of each of the common fuses.

the 70 judge is a favorite of mine. amazing machine.
