Remember, I am a newbie here.

Sure I signed up in February, but I haven't really started using it until recently.

Does SoCalCustoms even build cars?? The site and that logo, looks like a site just featuring custom cars and nice ladies (HA). They have some great pictures of this years SEMA show.

That particular HHR, looks like a Teazer Custom, they sell a rear bumper kit like on this one, and also did one last year, with somewhat similar pinstriping & graphics, just my Guess.

Either way it is a custom, not really a GM SS.

Sounds like this will be sometime in 07.
Hopefuly Chevy will do it with the 260HP 2.0 liter direct injected Ecotec Turbo.
With the new direct injection it is suppose to get 30mpg also.

It will be very disappointing if they use the Colbalt SS motor with only 205HP.
The PT Cruiser high output turbo has between 230 and 240HP. The HHR SS has to do better than that. Hopefully Chevy doesn't pull a Ford move like the Mustang GT only having 300HP compared to the GTO which has 400HP.

If Chevy does give us the 260HP Ecotec Turbo, I will be one of the first in line to get one!

Well, I guess that I am going to be satisfied with "low and slow", I think that I have gotten old because buying the panel version of the HHR is higher on my list than as SS...hahaha. the best part fo this is that the HHR did well enough during year one for GM to keep moving forward, the panle and an SS...very cool...
