That's cheap. What's your trick. I have Allstate in TX and it is $533 for 6 months - Full coverage of course. My 2003 Suburban is less that that at $503. Clean driving record, 30 yrs old, married... I think that covers all of the automatics discounts.

My insurance card classifies it as a Chevy Truck HHR. Agent said that in their computer system it is classified as an MPV - Mini Personal Vehicle.

Also, does anyone have any ideas when it will be tested by NTSB for safety rating? My agent said the rate will most likely drop as soon as it gets tested and has results published.

My insurance came in at just over 600 bucks for my HHR. My 2001 S-10 crew cab came in at $740.00. Considering we have some of the highest rates in the country here (Massachusetts drivers are......assertive), I don't think what I pay is bad at all.

I think of it as a small cross over. Not quite car, not a truck.

The idea is to bring back all the great threads of the past. The interesting ones, the helpful ones, the fun ones, all part of making this site better.
