HHR wagons disappearing quickly
Hi everyone,
Getting tough to find a HHR LS wagon , seems like
every dealer will make the effort to get one but
no luck yet. Methinks by next month only panels
will be all thats left. Gotta keep lookin.
Cheers.

The supply has really dwindled
I went on the serious hunt two weeks ago and found less than two dozen anywhere in the North East. As luck would have it a local dealer (3 miles from my home) had realized they were a hot ticket and made an effort to obtain all they could. The day I first talked to them they had, on the lot, 7 brand new - just 1 panel, 3 LS & 3 LT. Yesterday they had 5. Every one used - all 7 new were sold (including my LT1 purchase to be picked up 6/23 - can't wait!).
Interestingly most of the other area dealers had only one or two - mostly used/program ones - and many have removed the HHR even from their "search" models on their websites. That is really too bad and short sighted but if there are no more (and that is close to the case) why even list it?
They are a very good car, unique styling and an especially great value with all the recent rebates. I'm sad to see them go but now we own a limited edition model with plenty of aftermarket support. All in all not a bad way to have it.

I mentioned this in another thread...... The local Chevy place has none, doesn't want any, and it seems would rather the HHR never happened.
On the other hand the local Ford place is trying to keep several on the used car lot and they are selling them it seems.
I'm not sure what it's like in the bigger cities but down near my Fathers place, Delaware Ohio, which is like the extreme north end of Columbus now, I haven't seen any, for sale, new or used...... It's like an abandoned model, but they are all over the road.
Go figure!
@ the OP..... nothing wrong with a Panel

Eh, I have two kids and they love riding in the back seat...yes, I did have to put a back seat in for them, but it was more than worth the effort. To each his own, as they say.

So this one we just bought had the #1 requirement that it be a true manual transmission no matter what model we decided on. Now to teach my daughter how to drive a stick! (Our only other vehicle will be a 5 speed manual Saturn ION now. So she learns or doesn't drive when she's home!)
As a race fan she should know how to drive a stick in any case...

Hi John,
Been driving std transmissions for the last 40 years
but the little lady never has and am pretty sure
she's not gonna change her ways.
Check that, just in no way will she drive it. Yikes!
Cheers.
