HHR's Have 2 batteries

if you have the upgraded stereo system that is,,dont know if you all know that. i was pulling my trunk apart today to put a rocksford fosgate 8" woofer inplace of the pioneer 7 and was surprised to see a second battery in the trunk were the spare is housed! thought it was an interesting peice of info!?

Thats cool. That means if you decide to upgrade you system down the road, you can upgrade both batteries and make them Optimas.

I think you only have one in the trunk... no battery under the hood (thats how it is on the Cobalts)

Only the battery in rear compartment, none in front. to allow engine and accessories in engine compartment, Where would a battery fit in the engine compartment?

I think you saw a terminal... for battery jumps since the rear hatch won't open when a battery dies?

What you saw in the normal battery position was the fuse curcuit breaker cover. The jump start posts are along side of this box/panel.
