Not meaning to be spiteful or mean or anything along that line (really), but I do have to question the wisdom of someone that thinks their car has two batteries, taking on a project to install additional electrical equipment in their car. In a case like that it might be best left to a professional.

You guys! You all know the "second" battery up front is actually where the energizer bunny
is located! Why you holding out on the new guys? BTW...that clunking you hear up front?
Is his drum......feed him now and then

Yeah what looks like a battery under the hood is really a fusebox. If you try to jumpstart the car using those terminals, have fun replacing fuses and maybe getting the computer reflashed. Many owners have made that mistake.

Uh, if the manual directions are followed, that's a non-issue. People tend not to read it and do, think or say stupid stuff.

The manual says to ground to one of the strut mounting bolts. Actually any ground point on the engine or chassis will work. This ain't rocket science here.

I admit it, I thought at first glance they were remote battery terminals. I think it would help if the negative fuse box terminal wasnt so obvious or in a different place. Maybe putting the sticker there would be better, who looks at the strut when jumping a car?

There is no such thing! The point that I think you're referring to and many mistakenly hook the negative jumper cable to is actually the positive power lead to the power steering (cable to stud at rear of fusebox, or primary battery to some), causing a short.
