There is even a sticker indicating where to hook the cables up to.

I spent the time to read the whole manual and fould out all kinds of things ,,even the 2 hidden compartments in back of the rear seats that i would of never thought to look for,,along with the rear door release if someone got stuck in the cargo area with the door closed..
The fact that the front passenger seat folds down into a table so you can place a dvd player on it and sit in the back seat and watch it,,, with it plugged into the ipod connection to make the sound come out of the cars speakers

Yeah right, I feel sorry for anyone that does get stuck in the back, that manual release can take hours to get open. Go head, try it. You might die of dehydration first.

My SSR has the battery in the back as well.
Underneath the car, up in the frame in a box.
Talk about a PITA to replace!
I haven't looked for the batt in the H yet, but I knew it was in the back somewhere.

I haven't even looked at my battery. Are they the typical Delco sealed batteries or should I check the water level?

The answer you seek is found in your owners manual.

Sealed batteries in the HHR, they just sit back there and do their thing.
