HHR's Have 2 batteries

dead battery
Took pete for an oil change and he wouldn't start when I went to leave. They said there's a weak cell. Went to advance auto and they said it was a rear mounted battery, which is why it cost 110 bucks.
Was like wtf!? Rear mounted? You must be confused.... Turns out I'm just an ignorant ass.

this thread is awesome, im a M-B tech and benz puts most of the batteries in the trunk of cars, well they are everywhere now. I didnt even know my battery was in the trunk on my HHR but its pretty cool that they did it.
S-class - one under the hood and one behind the rear seat
E-class in the trunk
C/GLK class under hood
GL/ML/R under the passenger seat (be happy yours isnt there!)
like someone said being inside the car is better for the battery
