My 2006 HHR with the 2.4 gets treated to super when I can find it at a fare price and that is no were around here!

I have always used premium in ours. We don't travel a lot, so it's not too bad on the wallet. When I get my SS, I'll be used to it.

Yep. Around these parts the difference is almost 30 cents per gallon.

I have the 2.2 and usually buy what is cheapest, and I don't use any additives or cleaners. I haven't had any obvious problems with spark or anything indicating dirt in the system.

yeah the salesguy put 87 in it. I was gonna say something but i just wanted to get out of there. next tank i will try 93.

Welcome to a new Black HHR!!! Please post pix!

Gasoline is like gold here in SoCal and can't really afford anything but the least expensive gas. Going from a V6 truck to the 4 cylinder LT2, yes, I notice a bit of a difference in power, but I also notice an even bigger difference in my wallet--money left over! I'm lucky I only travel a bit over 100 miles a week back and forth to work.

I think one of these days--if gas prices ever go down in price--I'll try the mid-grade, until then, the lowest price/grade is what Sirius Blackie gets and runs fine with it
