Exclamation Hi folks. emergency post here

My first post here an its a duzy. My name is Adam Hennessy from Rennessy Fabrication and Design and my sister and I are currently running a race event called the One Lap of America. This is our 6th year running a trio of HHR SS' s and we have had an on track incident that damaged the entire left front suspension. We have currently sourced all the necessary parts to repair the car except for a halfshaft (axle).

We are currently trailering the car from texas motorsport ranch (TMR) and are headed up to hallett motorsport park near tulsa oaklahoma where we hope to repair the car before the event continues.

I am posting here to see if anyone has a left front (drivers side) axle shaft in operating condition in or around that area that we can buy from you. If so you can either email me at rennessyfabrication@gmail.com or call me directly at 518-225-8384. (Backup number 518-312-3746) we are currently in a tow vehicle so dont be afraid to call late.

Forgot to say that this is a five speed manual car (MU3)

Huge thanks folks!!!!

Arrow Time to step up gang!

OK, gang time to step up and help out a One Lapper if you can, this is a really cool event Co-Sponsored by our Supporting Vendor Tire Rack.

P.S. aboard Adam, if one of our folks can help you, they'll be demonstrating why we're a family here.

We may have located a dealer an hr from tulsa that has one in stock. Fingers crossed when we knock on their doors at 8am!

Fixable. Not as bad as the year we rolled the CTSV wagon :/

Welcome to the site.

Hope you're able to find a replacement part ASAP and continue on with the journey.

Truthfully. Most SS owners are not likely to have a spare halfshaft in their extra parts supply. But, the good owner/members here may be able to help you locate one if that dealer doesn't have the correct one in stock.

Welcome, and good luck out there! I had some friends run this in '06 or '07, and they have so many great stories to tell.

You have some crazy weather going on to add to your excitement today, too. Hope you stay safe, and there's a happy ending.

I'm going to have one that has some play in both cv joints, will that count as kind of a spare ?

Good luck, with all your issues.
My suggestion is, in the near future when you go to different races, you have all the junk yard phone numbers near the area your racing. so if you need to get a part quick, you'll be able to hopefully find one quicker. again good luck
Tim
