Try them both--had considered a PT L O N G ago as they did look cool. But am a Chevy-girl forever and when I saw this in 2005, that's all I needed to know. 9 months later, still LOVE my Blackie and look for ANY reason to go for a drive.

I see afs9 was pickin up what I was puttin down. I am partial to black also, not to mention that the dealers in my area only had one black 5speed with all options.

I've never had a PT but I've ridden in them and my opinion was that it's as small on the inside as it appears on the outside. I freely admit that I'm partial to GM vehicles but I think you'll find that many people on here will tell you that the HHR is much more spacious inside than the outside makes you think. One example I can give you is lumber. With the passenger seats (front and rear) folded flat you can haul 8 foot pieces of lumber, lots of them too. You can haul sheetrock if you buy the sized down pieces (which are more convenient anyway unless you're a contractor). The point is that all the seats fold flat and this allows for considerable flexibility in hauling items if need be.

By the way, it does pretty good on towing stuff too so long as you don't need to tow more than 1000 lbs. frequently and for long distances. We towed a motorcycle on vacation and still got close to 20 MPG.

welcome to the nut house lol I love my HHR and I traded in my Z71 theres quit abit of room inside im 6' and 260 lbs and feel extremely good and comfortable in the hhr

 

Thanks all for the welcome and all that I will have to take one out for a soine and see how it is...Right now I have a 2001 Aqua and it is seven years old and I hear this year is the last one for the PT thats why I was looking at the HHR for my next ride. I don't like the change to the new PTS and think they look cheper then the first ones...
Do you know if the HHR come in any green colours???
