HID question

I am on the verge of ordering HIDs.
I have a 2008 ls, are the bulbs for sure H13?
Also, is there any known problems with people using hids on the
hhr? Does the chevy wiring harness do fine with them? Does
the day time running option play out okay with them?

thanks for all input, i was bout to order them tonight
but decided to get input first before i place order.

Thanks,
HALFpanel (paul)

You'll probably get a lot of glare and people "flashing" you from the oncoming lanes. Best of luck, but a projector retrofit would be your best bet. They have the "upstops" to stop the glare for oncoming drivers

haha, yeah ive already had HIDs on my past cars. people flash me
assuming my high beams are on, but they are just the HIDs. I always
get 5500k , those are about the brightest white you can get.

I just wanted to know if the chevy stock wire harness holds up good?

The drl's normally run the headlights at a lower intensity. My sunfire runs the high beams, I'm not sure about our HHR's. If it runs the low beams, you would probably want to pull the drl fuse to make sure the HID's are getting full voltage.
