Hitch adapter and riser?

Anyone who has a hitch have a riser adapter? How long is needed to clear the bumper?

This is the unit I ordered and how it fits.

Only 1/2" of space between bumper (good)

I will have to drill a new Hitch pin hole for the harbor freight cargo thing so I can push it back 2" though.

Only time will tell. I drive 50-55 on the freeway if I drive far enough to need to use it.

main uses will be a 50lb scooter and 2-3 tool bags so I don't have to clear room inside my car when I do side jobs.

In most states anything that protrudes more the a couple of feet will need a red or orange flag.
