Horn questions...

OK - new horn installed. What a difference. Ralph was right - the original is EXACTLY like the aftermarket add on. Even the same brand - Fiamm. I just pulled back the inner fender, piggy backed the new horn on the original's bracket, made a jumper for the positive wire, and bingo - much nicer sounding 'toots'. I think a dual horn should be part of the LT package...
Hillsdale - I sure wish I could go to your Cedar Point event. I grew up about 45 miles from there and have many fond memories. Plus, that place turned me into a bonafied roller coaster junkie!!! I remember when the Corkscrew was one of the first upside down coasters in the country - that was a long time ago...

Based on what I read on this site I decided to add a second horn as well.
I went to Advanced and bought the FIAMM (high note) horn and it is the same as the factory except the electrical connection. It was easy enough to splice into the factory wiring and add the 2nd horn. No fuse blowing issues. Mounting was easy as I just piggy backed off of the single factory bolt.
One comment though FIAMM makes 2 versions, the standard (PN 72002) about $12 mentioned earlier, and a much louder "big rig sound - twice as loud" (PN 72102) about $16. They look identical but the 72102 is 132 decibles.
With both of them my SS horn now sounds like a horn should sound!
