What is the standard number of airbags on a panel? Mine has EIGHT. Seems a little much for a two seater. And it has On Star, but it's not a LT just an LS. It is a 07' Panel 5sp. Had been a GM owned " Captured Test Fleet Program" vehicle. The window sticker shows DEALER TO WHOM DELIVERED as General Motors Corp. Never delivered to a retail dealer. It was sold at a GM dealer only auction. The Chevy dealer that bought it didn't retail it. And later sold it at open dealer auction where I bought it. I'm just wondering if maybe it's equipped a little different then others. The window sticker doesn't show an equipment or pricing info. Just the fuel economy info, and it is VERY conservative. I've already added a back seat, and carbon fiber over the 2 big gold bowties. Springs go on Weds and the Gunmetal gray spoke RIAX wheels go on Friday. Love this little car, my GTO hasn't been out of the garage since I got the HHR panel. GREAT FORUM! Thanks Y'all.

Look's like you got the full load of air bags, Just the two [driver & pass] are standard, the rest are opt. like the Onstar just a add on to a LS

 

only 8 airbags????!! wow..you got ripped off!!! my current car has 42 airbags. My coffee cup holder even has an airbag. I ran over a squirrel and my coffee cup was shot upwards from the force of the coffee cup holder airbag, but luckily the ceiling airbags went off and deflected it back into place. I one day hope to buy an all wheel drive airbag with a deathray. --- p.s.: my cellphone has 3 airbags.

 

 

From the sound of this, you have one large airbag on your shoulders. I'll bet it goes off often.

I have '06 with OnStar which require to have the side airbags which gives me a total of 8 airbags.
