Cool

Wrote a check, drove it off the lot......It's mine

But we still have 2 house payments, ours and a rental around the corner. 5 more years then those are ours too.

Put 3/4 down so I'd have smaller payments.

My house is all mine though.

Not me... still have about 4 years to go.

Just paid off my Harley though... does that count for anything? :-D

I traded in a 2005 GTO on my used 2009. I got $100 more for the GTO than the asking price. Wrote a check for the taxes, transfer and it's all mine now.

I was just curious to know how many of us owners are lucky enough to have gotten outta payment and claim our title from the banks. I paid my HHR off back in June. I have to say I am extremely proud of myself, being that I am 21 and paid the car off in just a little over two years. Not only did I pay the car off, I have a pretty fair amount of mods and work into it.

I was just curious to know how many others I stand with.
Like you, when I was your age, actually about a year younger I too paid off my first “new” vehicle in about a year and a half. It sure felt great. Good going!!

What was even better the bank gave me the loan without my dad cosigning the loan – they asked him to, but he refused, as he didn’t like my choice of vehicle.

I have paid cash for every vehicle since. Don't like owing money.

I got that zero down-zero interest deal with payment of $18 a month for the rest of my life and then the payments get passed on to the kids.

Well, I won't have mine paid off for a little while... But I am proud of myself. I've paid extra each month and it should be done about 13 months earlier at the current rate I'm going...so should be done around May 2013 instead of June 2014...

But I do hold the title to both my Lumina and my truck...so that's nice!

Bought mine on a credit card, paid that off 3 weeks later, was just a convenient method, plus I got a few rewards points.

I wrote a check using my home equity line as the interest on that is 3% and tax deductible. The car is free and clear.
