I did a recent check on Edmunds True Market VAlue, which does an average of all cars sold. Everyone gets below invoice on HHR. Weird.

Paid $24k and change. Not bad considering it was the only 5 speed with black/red interior and the LSD in the state (and surrounding states) at the time I purchased it.

I must have checked every dealer near me and most couldn't even find one that matched what I wanted.

I paid less than the lowest choice in the poll.

Paid $15480 including license plates, etc. for a new 2009 2.2 LS 5spd. That was my out the door price.

Car voucher

I just recently retired from GM and I had a car voucher that was worth $15,500 after taxes. The sticker for my 2009 LT was a little over $22,000. Then after employee discount, rebates I ended up putting $3,000 of my own money into it. I guess you could say I got a new HHR for only $3,000. Thank you General Motors. I'm surprised I don't see any other GM retires using the car voucher GM gave us for retiring.

Let's calculate (all amounts aproximated) ....

'06 HHR LT2 90K miles - 8250
Delivery to Russia, St.Petersburg - 3000
Customs tax - 10400
Some additional local expenses - 350
Total about - 23000

Looks like TOP ONE EXPENSIVE car on this forum!!! :))))

It's not a joke, it's really actual laws here in Russia ;-(
