How old are your tires?
#11
People can do as they wish BUT,............................
All I can say is, GM during testing of all vehciles, assures that mounted and changed tires are current and all have exact matching build dates. This also applied to field and service vehicles.
As a matter of fact, I wholesaled all tires older than 6 months, as a lot bid, to approved tire dealers, who sold them at reasonably discounted savings to the consumer (minimally used tires were marked "ADJ"). Maybe as a space necessity, but also as remaining current.
But and additional question COULD/WOULD be........why would you buy an old tire when one of by the same manufacturer and type would probably be the same cost.
