I'm right near the CT/MA border, so I fill up in MA. Last week (Tuesday), it was $4.01. I paid about $60 to fill it up, but I was waaaayyyy down. I gave the HHR to my bride today, so it should come back empty. Ugh...I'll have to figure out how to limp to MA so I can fill up again.

There's gotta be a cheaper way...
There is. When we moved into our house, it was in the shadow of Katrina when the gas prices jumped - needed to buy a lawn mower. We picked a Black & Decker "Grass Hog" electric mower. Sure, we have to toss extension cords around, but it beats having to pay to gas up every mow!

My son and I passed a service station yesterday and there was 2 cop cars and an ambulance there. I made the comment.. wonder whats wrong? He said in a very serious voice....some poor soul might have had a heart attack when he seen the price of gas.

Exactly what I had said when I seen 2 Fire Rescue trucks at a Shell station in West Palm Beach.
