Thank you for the link for the manual. I happen across it here before.
A little more about my HHR. It has painted to match mirror and door handles, it does not have running boards, or roof racks, or a sunroof. It came with hubcaps with those wierd black steel rims under ( which I am currently rocking ). It did also come with a chrome exhaust tip , but no fog lights.... Think I'm more confused then when I started... Is there are data base somewhere that tells what the code meaning that sticker in the glove box

A lot of the codes are interchangeable between the different years. Just look for your code #s (the ones in your glovebox)

If you truely want to know what it is very easily as far as 1 or 2 lt then have Chevymgr or a dealer run the vin for you. It is that simple and you will have a definitive answer. They can even list the std and optional equip the car was built with without having to look thru all those codes and match them up.
