I FINALLY met another...

person in MY town that drives the SAME color as mine! At breakfast a couple came up to me and ask if I was driving the "purple" HHR. The couple said the have the same color, but thier HHR was not as loaded as mine. While we talking they asked me if I knew about this site! ( I don't have my sticker on yet, it will be put on after it gets detailed this Thursday)While they were buying thier HHR another man came in to buy his wife the same color! So now I know of 3, being the same color. I know ALOT of people think that this color just is not right, but I'm telling ya it really is a NICE color. We need to get a club for the Florida drivers, like Socal's. And even have the cruise nights! Let me know if any Florida drivers want to get together!

Tekno--as you know, I am in Tampa until April or May, so keep me posted if you Floridians do any kind of get together. With the exception of this weekend, Saturdays and Sundays are best for me. I have seen a few HHRs on the roads around here, but I think most are rentals (bar codes give them away).

At least us owners that travel for work can rent one on the company to keep us in the Kewl zone.

1LT from National Car in Denver. Was about 15 HHRs in different colors.

Saw 5 HHRs on rent in Hilo Hawaii.

Go National Car Rental!!

I rented an LS from Enterprise for 2-weeks while AEM was prototyping.
Nice to see HHR's in the rental fleet.

Ok, just to keep the record straight, your HHR was loaded, not you???? D'OH! My sister lives in Ft. Walton Beach, I don't know how to spell that or how far away it is, but she has just started a custom vinyl business and I will post some of her work later. She is a car buff, so maybe I could send her to represent!

Well I like the purple color although I ordered black. I too live in Florida but I'm on the east coast (Titusville area). My HHR hasn't arrived yet and I only see a couple on the road here in our area. Just to let you know, I'm also a very active member of Focaljet.com which is a site for Focus enthiasts. I bought a Focus a few years ago since at the thime Chevy didn't have anything fun, inexpensive, and economical to drive, so I'm really glad they came out with the HHR. My point to this post is, as an active member of FJ, my home is usually the location for all of our modding g2g's. I do all my own work on my cars as well as for many other's, I have a three bay shop, a four post lift, and enough tools to perform most automotive related work and have more years of automotive experience than I really care to remember...LOL. I'll be starting my mods on my HHR the day I get it. so, for furure reference I may attempt to set up a g2g here probably within the next couple months. When this happens I'll post more info here on this forum. However, our g2g's now consist of many different makes and models of car's since many of our FJ members have moved away from our beloved Focuses and on to other projects. -Dan

Okay, I'm guessing g2g is 'get togethers'...
