I had to replace my beloved 2010 TEAL BLUE HHR!
Hello, Everyone~
I am hoping someone here knows someone who knows someone who can locate a well-cherished, well-maintained replacement for my Big Blue. She's a 2010 LT-1 in that gorgeous teal blue color. I was rear-ended on Jan.16 while braked for a possum crossing the road, and just today got word the insurance company is 'totaling' the car.
I'm no DIY-er with vehicles at all, and Mass. regs are such that I can't even drive it home. Even if I could afford the $5000+ repairs the insurance won't pay for, I've been told it's unlikely I could ever register & insure a car in this state after it has been labeled a 'total loss' by the system.
Even searching 300 miles from my house, I'm not finding any blue 2010 or 2011 HHRs on the national websites. And only one in that bright shiny red, my 2nd choice. I need the LT package, because the 7-way adjustable seat lets me "sit up straight", which saves my back.
I will be so grateful for any legit leads to replace my beloved Blue! I had intended to drive her at least another 10 years.
Thanks!

sorry for your car, woman ...
and I really respect your desire to get exactly the blue color ...
But if the blue color is not available, it may make sense to temporarily abandon the selection by color and choose according to the technical condition? When a pair of technically perfect and well-groomed cars is on your shortlist, you will return to the color palette and choose what you like.

A quick look at the first site that came across ...
I see a dark blue car in Somerset, Massachusetts, USA (108 miles from Montagu). https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/61585295
105 thousand miles and the price is below 4000 US dollars.
The condition is average.
Even more blue cars 2009 in about the same condition and similar mileage. And there are other sites, there are still offers from dealers on their own sites. As well as online private message boards.
You have a lot of work to do, analysis of web resources. But in the end, the coveted prize.

If you cannot find an acceptable one, you might consider looking just for all the other items you need on it and if the price is ok.
Then have it painted .
That way you will not have any dings or body damage issues either.
Just a thought .....

Silverfox, yes, I already know the repair cost is too high, especially with the Mass. hoops that could "fail" a repaired vehicle that has "totaled" on record, AFTER I put $5-$6-K into it.
Geg, I absolutely agree that condition is more important than color. Tougher to get the sellers I've been finding on these national sites to provide any repair records or proof of provenance! I lucked in on Big Blue; it was a Certified Pre-Owned, and came with pages of maintenance records.
And THANKS for the link to a nationwide sell site I had not known about.
All links & sites gratefully appreciated!

I wanted another IBM HHR , then spotted a 2011 2LT in CFM , in very good condition for a very good price, I scooped it up in 25 minutes.
Colour isn’t everything. Apparently yours isn’t Teal blue , it’s Aqua Blue

Point is you don’t really see what colour car you’re driving , don’t worry it will let you know it likes you!

sorry to hear about your accident, Hope you are OK, that's most important. Try going to facebook and plug in "marketplace" with specifics. Lot's of HHRs across the country available. Good Luck in your search
