I HATE People Sooo Much Sometimes....
I just noticed today while hanging out with my wife and my best friend after work that my SS has a ding on the right quarter panel... A pretty decent sized ding too... Luckily no paint damage, but enough dent to make me want to punch somebody. How can somebody have the audacity to dent someones car and not leave a note or even a sorry?? They dent it and just wait for the person to figure it out on thier own. It's so rediculous. I am so pissed off right now. I felt it necessary to vent here because I know most of you can relate. I havent even made the first damn payment yet. UGHHHHH................

If it's due you should give it to them, sorry to hear about your ding, mine came with a flaw if the original owner would have pointed at it, they would have fixed it.

Can you use the ol' hair dryer and a can of compressed air trick to get the dent out?
Where is the line of difference drawn for a ding and a dent?

It's a dent. A nasty one too because it's it right on the fender edge on the back so it is stronger metal, not sheet metal.

I had a guy get in his car next to me(while I was sitting in mine)by slinging his door open.He knew he hit mine because he was cranked up and gone before I could get out of the car.I have one word for him.........COWARD

Sorry to hear about your ding to your new ride, i noticed a tiny ding by the gas flap that I''m positive wasn't there a few days ago, but what are you gonna do??? Probably one of the kids bumped into it or something, but it is nothing to lose sleep over...
And not ALL people suck... I had my van get creased in the passengers's side rear quarter panels in a Lowe's parking lot a couple of years ago, not really bad but enough to make me cringe. As I came out to the van, the couple in the p/u that did the deed were next to the van, writing down their contact information since i didn't hear the page in the store; they had gone back in to have me paged and when i didn't respond, they took the next step by leaving me their contact info. I didn't get mad or upset, told them that if i wanted to file a claim with my insurance i would contact them and not to let this bug them. I went home, compounded out most of the visible damage to the paint and said to hell with it. Nice people that did the right thing and i wasn't about to make them pay for it. Sometimes it is better to just forgive and move on. ( A year later, i got a matching one on the drivers' side, probably by a garbage truck when i had to park it on the street for construction work on the house. That one DID pi$$ me off, since no one owned up to it!)
