Sometimes accidents do happen... I've door dinged a few cars, and I've felt really bad, but what am I going to do? I'm not careless, sometimes it just slips. Like I said, accidents happen. Door dings are a part of life, and luckily they are fixable. Heck, all my cars have door dings on them..sure they're irritating to get, but I move on.

 

Supposed to leave your name & number to do right by your mistake..

You wouldn't like finding a door ding & no-one around.. I wouldn't.

It's kinda like our POS neighbors, how can I get them to respect our property when they don't even respect there own ! As far as door dings, if you choose not to park away from others and choose to park closer to the front door of your local shopping center don't be suprised if something unexpected happens ! We've been out in our Panel to get something to eat and have went somewheres else because of poor parking options ....

I always thought that the Americans are insured even penises. Car insurance - a necessary procedure! I mistaken?

 

Geg, the problem is when you are doing that is makes your rates go up since it is a "hit and run" style accident with no one to be at fault but yourself, so it still sucks and is no fun.

Sorry it happened, I had someone back into the front of mine.

 

Dings are one of the many signs that our society is failing. People have little care to take responsibility for their actions accident or not.

To me to ding a door and leave with out a note at the very least is not better than a hit and run on the free way.

I juat paid to have thee dings out of the GTP at my expense as no would would take responsibility.

The Dumbing Down of people today is only get worse. I hate to see how things will be if the economy get worse.

These people used to die and today helmets, air bags and seat belts keep them alive. Today we have to rely on video cameras and hey watch this to cull the heard. LOL!

Paint less dent repair is my best friend on my wifes car.

 

Mine come from Mexico like that. Special order waiting four months, get it home and see in and outs all over it. I took fake bullets hole decals and placed all over the vehicle where the in-dings were. You know you pay a lot of money for something , and the newness is gone now. Dentless repair is less that a $100.

 

Second week with mine, went to a store parked in the way back part of the lot. Nobody near me when I went in or came out 25 minutes later. Somebody walked way back there (or drove) decided I needed to be keyed on my drivers door. 2 long swipes 2' long each. I went back in, the store had no cameras on their lot. I left my garage, and went right there. So I know it happened there.

Luckily they didn't cut it in too deep. But still WTF. Don't think I even seen someone on the rode on the way there, it was 10:30 am weekday their was no traffic to PO anyone off. Only thing I can figure someone knew it was new - too clean, Or maybe I parked in an employees spot and he was PO'd. But it was just a unmarked spot in the back of the lot.

Plus this winter during an ice storm my other car was hit on the street 5K damage - no note.

Jerks are everywhere !
