I NEED Seat belt bolts.

Awhile back my husband installed a rear seat in out 08 panel. It's been WONDERFUL! The one piece of advice I didn't take, well couldn't was to go to the junk yard myself and get all the needed parts. I had to have it all shipped as I couldn't find what I needed locally.

The seat belts did not come with everything. I need the two lower bolts that bolt into the wall of the car. I can't seem to find them anywhere and junkyards don't want to part with them without me buying the entire seat belt assembly or they just don't answer my emails.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Head to your dealer's parts counter, the bolts that retain the seat belts should only be used once, never use bolts from a junkyard...the life you save could be your own. It may seem wasteful and overly cautious, but spending a few dollars for new hardware is a small price to pay in the event of an accident.

I agree with 843, & when winding new bolts in. They will be tight, since they cut threads going in.. That also keeps them from loosening.

No should have no problem with buying these parts. It is easy to order, easy to pay. 3 - 5 days of waiting, and bolts on your front porch.
Frankly, I would not do even that. Just visit the nearest shop (factories, landfills, hardware store or garage neighbor). I'm think, near your house a lot of places where you can find the bolt. A simple thing, easily find and most likely for free.
Not necessarily car bolt. Any, suitable length and thread.
was the case, I used the nuts from the old sofa.

Thanks for your help everyone! I didn't realize I could just order some bolts, I thought it came with the seat belt and I would need the entire contraption. I'll stop by my chevy dealer and see if they can order me a couple.

Surely the dealer has the necessary bolts available
