If you can't get ahold of your boss then do the next best thing. Contact you r states labor board and file a complaint. They will usually come around and investagate. If they find he has not been paying his employees, they will fine him and make him pay his employees or shut him down untill he does. That will get his attention. You may lose your job but at least you will get what is owed you for the work performed. Hope this helps, and good luck!

 

I'm kinda of in the same boat. I've been unemployed since April 14th. I've been collected unemployment. But I started doing some temp work two weeks ago. I've been living off my Tax Refund. But thats all gone. So I can relate to you. I've been keeping myself very postive and learning from every other interview that I have been on. I have a second interview this week with another company that is going to match my old Salary. Which would be great. There is a job market out there. I see plenty of New Construction going on in the manhatten. Just be postive man. I know I can do it. So can you. Just do not think about the bills. Just think about getting back to work. That's where my mindset is at. I'm very happy to do temp accounting work right now. There is no stress. Its a little bit less then i use to make. But every bit helps.
