It was kinda hard to figure out what was being asked, but any reputable repair shop knows where to get both factory and aftermarket parts.
Where did your insurance send you to? Why not go to the dealer?
Do you think saving a couple bucks is worth having a hood slice through your windshield, due to faulty crumple zones?

One of the most valid points I have seen here in a while.

Aftermarket body parts for the HHR............... Now there's a joke. Like HillsdaleHHR pointed out there is Teazer and Razzi makes one body kit. I think the HHR is doomed to hardly any aftermarket support.

Teazer uses a factory hood for their HHR cowl hood. They just glass the cowl onto it. I've checked and at this time GM is the only company making hoods for the HHR.

I thought he wanted to repair/replace the OEM hood, he wants to change hood style altogether, it was hard to make out what he was saying, sorry.
