Unhappy I rear ended this guy with my HHR :(

It was on a rainy day and this guy made a sudden stop cause the car in front of him stopped. Its my Grandmas HHR But I love it. She wasnt driving. It was my Cousins boyfriend. We hit a Honda CRV. The Honda had a spare tire and the HHR hit that. And Im wondering how much repairs will cost? The Insurance company said they will give us a estimate. Its pretty scary cause its the first crash.
My grandma Owes about 11k and we Have Statefarm insurance.

-Jay.

Hard to say. It really would depend if anything mechanical was damaged, such as the radiator or anything else under the hood as well.

The best way to go I think is get the wrecking yard to find you a complete hood in that color and put it on yourself.I did a mini van and replaced the complete front clip for $750.00 if you can keep the body shop out of that repair it will be under $500.00.Keep the insurance out of it for sure they will skin you for the next 5 years.

He's saying don't report it to the insurance company if you don't have to. If they know about it and pay to have it fixed, they will more than likely up your rates, and it will really cost you in the long run. If you can afford to pay for all the repairs yourself, you'd be better off.
